For the third time in three years, the University of Wyoming women’s cross country team was named as one of the 2008 NCAA Division I USTFCCCA Women’s Cross Country All-Academic Teams.
The Mountain West Conference was well represented as eight of the nine women’s teams made the list. Wyoming compiled a team grade point average (GPA) of 3.367 behind the leading University of Utah with a team 3.656 GPA.
For a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award, they must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional Meet. The team must also have a minimum 3.00 team cumulative grade point average.
